It is important to note that all voluntary products offered by the Egyptian Trust (dental, vision and life insurance) are offered independent of each other. Therefore, employees may choose to enroll in any, or all, of the products offered.

Please check with your Employer to confirm the voluntary plans offered in your district and carefully review the plan summaries presented to choose those plans that will best meet the needs of you and your family.  Employees may only enroll in these plans during the annual open enrollment period and may not make changes during the benefit year except in the case of a Special Enrollment or Qualifying Life Event.

Employees who have questions regarding benefits or claims on or after September 1, 2021, should contact MetLife Vision Customer Service at 855-MET-EYE1 (855-638-3931) between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. (CT) Monday through Friday or between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. (CT) Saturday and Sunday for assistance.

EyeMed Voluntary Vision

EyeMed has been the Trust’s voluntary vision carrier from September 1, 2017 – August 31, 2021.

Employees who have questions regarding vision claims or benefits during this period, should contact EyeMed at 866-804-0982 for assistance.
